An Invercargill man killed after a fire at a block of flats on Wednesday has been named.
Alan Patrick Pirus Sarginson, 51, was the sole casualty of a fire that tore through a number of flats on Tramway Rd early on Wednesday morning.
His body was discovered in one of the flats.
The cause of the fire remains a mystery, and authorities are investigating. Police do not believe it is suspicious.
