Justice Minister Judith Collins will this afternoon release two reports into David Bain’s compensation claim.
The first, retired Canadian Supreme Court judge Ian Binnie’s original report on the claim. The second, a peer-reviewed version of the original report, requested by Ms Collins after alleged discrepancies in Justice Binnie’s findings.
Ms Collins is holding a press conference at 2:45pm to release the two reports.
