Three South Island Lotto players are a lot richer today after tickets from Dunedin and Invercargill won more than $300,000.

The players will all split the first-division prize drawn on Saturday night to take away $333,333 each.

The winning tickets were sold at Countdown Rangiora East in Rangiora and online on the MyLotto website to luck players in Dunedin and Invercargill.

Powerball hasn't been struck and will carry over to Wednesday night, with a new jackpot of $6 million.
