A MediaWorks employee accused of stealing nearly half-a-million dollars from the company over a two-year period reappeared in an Auckland court this morning.
The woman, whose name is suppressed, is accused of invoicing MediaWorks from real and false companies between 2013 and 2015. The total amount came to $458,094.00
Alleged offences include using the invoices to claim money from her colleagues' credit cards, as well as one in her own name.
She will appear for a sentence indication hearing on June 22.
An application by MediaWorks to film the defendant was denied.
