A pedestrian is recovering in hospital with serious head injuries, after being hit by a car in Auckland this morning.
The collision happened around 1.30am at the intersections of Dominion and Lambeth Roads in Sandringham.
The patient is now in a stable condition in Auckland City Hospital.
