On Sunday night, we said farewell to 3 News which had been on air since 1989 to make way for Newshub Live at 6pm for the first time, presented by Mike McRoberts and Hilary Barry.
3 News and RadioLIVE are now Newshub, a multi-platform TV, radio and digital news service. The MediaWorks news services are now one combined organisation, built around an integrated newsroom.
The 6pm news isn't the only show that's had a makeover, however; Newsworthy has been rebranded Newshub Late, with Samantha Hayes anchoring the programme. Newshub Midday is presented by Jeff McTainsh. The weekend 6pm news will be presented by Melissa Davies and Tom McRae, who have both returned from their overseas posts.
