Police have named the victim of a farm vehicle accident on Friday in the Coromandel.
He was Jeffery Robert Frum of Newport Beach, California.
"Mr Frum's body was found underneath an overturned Kubota RTV on a private rural driveway at Hahei by the couple who he had been staying with," says Sgt Andrew Morrison.
"Department of Labour investigators have attended the scene and there are not considered to be any suspicious circumstances associated with Mr Frum's death which has been reported to the coroner."
Having occurred on a private property, the fatality is not considered a road death.
