Police are looking for a Honda Prelude that fled from a car crash in Mosgiel, west of Dunedin overnight.
The turquoise-coloured car was driving from Murray St along Reid Rd towards Factory Rd.
At the intersection of Factory Rd the vehicle mounted the footpath and crashed through a give-way sign before heading further down the road and east along Gordon Rd.
The car has significant front left panel damage, smashing the left headlight and ripping the left front guard from its mounting, police say.
