A High Court jury has heard double murder-accused Kamal Reddy approached a relative for help when wondering what to do with the bodies.
Bal Naidu has been called as a Crown witness in Kamal Reddy's trial. Reddy is accused of killing his former partner Pakeeza Yusuf and her daughter Jojo almost a decade ago.
The court heard Reddy came to Naidu's house in the middle of the night and admitted the killings, saying the bodies were in the back of his car.
Naidu showed Reddy a construction site in Takapuna in the early hours of the morning, and told the court he didn't tell police about it as Reddy threatened him.
Naidu was sentenced to 12 months home detention last year on a charge of being an accessory after the fact to murder.
