Glue has been spilt on a Whangarei road following a two truck crash this morning.
Police say two trucks collided about 3.30am, one of them carrying 14,000 litres of glue, on SH1 near Oakleigh, just south of Whangarei. It is understood neither driver was injured.
Some of the glue has now leaked onto the road, making conditions very slippery between Maungakaramea Road and Mangapai Road on SH1.
Police warn drivers to slow down, use utmost care and expect delays.
Police, fire and road contractors are working to make the road safe, but the clean up may take some hours.
