A house near Greymouth suffered moderate damage in a suspicious fire over the weekend.
The West Coast CIB is investigating the blaze at 34 Ranfurly St, Runanga, which started around 10:30pm on Saturday.
No one had been in the house for several days.
Police want to hear from anyone who saw suspicious activity between Friday morning and when the fire started.
