The search for a missing woman on Auckland’s North Shore has this afternoon been upgraded to a homicide investigation.
Bin “Cissy” Chen was reported missing by her partner four days ago after she failed to return from a walk.
An extensive search of the Long Bay reserve failed to turn up any sign of the 44-year-old and there have been no public sightings of Cissy since her disappearance.
Police are conducting a forensic examinsation at an address in Torbay and a man is assisting officers with their inquiries.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Cissy is urged to contact police on 0800 CISSY (0800 247 79).
