A 30-year-old man has been arrested on several charges in Hamilton after attempting to steal chicken from a KFC restaurant.
Police were called to the Greenwood St franchise after a local man jumped onto the counter and started to take the cooked chicken.
The secret spices were obviously tempting, but the alleged offender dropped it and ran when approached by management.
After a car pursuit and short foot chase, he was arrested near Silverdale Rd.
He will appear in Hamilton District Court later this week.
