A woman is in a serious condition after a motorcycle crash in Appleby, Tasman District, this afternoon.
The 59-year-old woman was taken to Nelson Hospital after the crash on the Moutere Highway at around 2:10pm.
Witnesses told police the woman crashed into the back of the vehicle in front of her when the driver slowed down to make a turn.
Police are asking any witnesses to contact them on (03) 546 3840.
