Cup Day fever hit Christchurch and the drunken hordes were out in force.
Officially the event at Addington Raceway is about horse racing, but it's usually overshadowed by boozers and high fashion. And there's nothing boozers like more than trying to get in the way of a reporter trying to do his job.
Even the likes of James McOnie and Stan Walker aren't immune to the pull of the camera.
