Name suppression will go on for a 58-year-old man accused of murdering a woman by hitting her with a car.
The Levin man made a brief appearance in the Wellington District Court where the public gallery was packed.
He was remanded in custody until his next court appearance next month. The case has now been moved to the High Court.
Delia Grace Williams, 55, died when she was hit by a car in the Wellington suburb of Northland in March.
