Three teenagers have been arrested after being caught mid-burglary by the home's owner in Napier.
The 16-year-olds were interrupted around 11pm on Thursday while robbing an address on Morse St, Marewa.
After the trio fled, they were tracked by a police dog unit to nearby Kennedy Rd and arrested.
Police say the stolen property was recovered and the three have been referred to Youth Aid.
