Wellington commuters came across a unique sight at the train station this afternoon, with an elegant performance in the lead up to the World of WearableArt (WOW) Awards season.
The performance had been scheduled to take place on Lambton Quay this afternoon, but the threatening weather forced it to be moved to the Wellington train station.
Positively Wellington Tourism chief executive David Perks says the street performance gives people a glimpse into the "grace, beauty and innovation" of WOW.
A number of WOW-related events are being held across Wellington, with the 2015 show season running from tomorrow until October 11 at TSB Arena.
