Angry Vodafone customers have survived hours this morning without internet throughout the country.
Vodafone was first alerted to the situation at 4am this morning, with problems seen on both fixed line and mobile networks "at various locations across New Zealand".
They released a tweet this morning saying: "Hi there, we know some of you are having problems with mobile data, we are working to return services to normal ASAP. More updates to come."
The phone company has since managed to get fixed line internet back up and running swiftly, but mobile phone data took a little longer, leaving disgruntled customers.
People took to social media to vent their frustration.
