The bidding's kicked off for the controversial furry purse taking 'glamour puss' to a new level, after the reserve was dropped to just $1.
After 32 bids and more than 46,000 page views, the Trade Me auction has hit $480.
Taxidermist Claire Third dropped the $1400 start-price because she wanted it to go to someone who loves it but can't afford it.
The purse is made from a dead cat she found on a country road.
The auction ends at 8:30pm on Wednesday.
