Police are seeking witnesses to a crash in Cromwell on Friday which left an 18-year-old with moderate injuries.
An investigation is ongoing after a Nissan Maxima was driven into a grit truck at around 8pm on Barry Ave.
The 18-year-old was discharged from Dunedin Hospital today while his passenger, also aged 18, received a minor cut to his forehead in the incident but was otherwise uninjured.
Police say they want to hear from anyone who saw the Nissan Maxima before the crash to contact the Cromwell Police Station on (03) 445 1999.
