The Aussies were fairly and squarely beaten by New Zealand in this one-day series, but now they're crying over process.

You won't find much sympathy in this country. In fact, I doubt you'll find any.

Replays show Mitchell Marsh was caught and bowled whether they like it or not.

He was out.

The umpires decided to go upstairs to review it. They're in charge. They called it. It was an odd dismissal, granted, but it was out.

They have the technology – use it. And they did.

And the sledging? It happens. There is intense heat and spite between these two teams. That's cricket, now. It's become part of the game whether we like it or not.

These are testosterone-filled young blokes.

The Aussies and the Kiwis are no better than each other. We both do it. This is international sport between two aggressive teams – niggle will always be part of the game. It's the World Champions versus the runner-up.

NZ 2, Australia 1. That's what the scoreboard shows. The rest is history.

Now bring on the Test series – there's so much at stake.
