What else is in the Sky City report?

The Auditor-General's report into the Government's convention centre tender process revealed that Sky City wants an annual payment from the taxpayer to promote any convention centre it builds.

The Government and Sky City are painting it as promotion of the New Zealand brand, but the Opposition's labelled it a "slush fund" for Sky City executives.

The public knew about the Government's intention to change the Gambling Act to allow Sky City to install more pokie machines in exchange for building the centre, but not the annual payment.

The report also revealed Sky City wants to use ticket technology in its pokies, which dramatically increases the rate at which gamblers spend their money, and take over some land from nearby TVNZ - for free.
