Steven Adams has bounced back from injury to record a double-double, helping the Oklahoma City Thunder to a 102-99 win over the Atlanta Hawks.

Thunder took the lead in a massive third quarter which saw the visitors outscore the Hawks 28-15.

Adams hit 12 points and 10 rebounds for the match, making it his third double-double of the season.

The kiwi suffered a fall in the fourth quarter and was gingerly helped to his feet by the Thunder coaching staff. But Adams finished the game strong.

Despite his very good game, the Thunder were led by Russell Westbrook who recorded his sixth consecutive triple-double, registering 32 points, 12 rebounds and 12 assists.

Westbrook will receive the chance to equal Michael Jordan's record of seven straight triple-doubles in front of his home crowd when they host the Houston Rockets on Saturday (NZ time).
