Joseph Parker is still in the mix to be Anthony Joshua's next opponent, but boxer promoter Eddie Hearn would like to see the Kiwi as part of a heavyweight grand slam boxing spectacle.

Hearn, the promoter for IBF heavyweight champion Joshua, has set his sights on producing a heavyweight super card to be held under the closed roof of Cardiff's Millennium stadium on November 26th.

Parker, who will put his number one contender status on the line on October 1st against German giant Alexander Dimitrenko, would not face Joshua on Hearn's ideal super-card.

Hearn would like to see the New Zealander match up against the British fighter David Price in a title eliminator, whilst Joshua would face another contender.

He suggested that Joshua could fight Kubrat Poulev or Bermane Stiverne, while Dereck Chisora and Dillian Whyte would square off for the vacant British heavyweight championship on the same card.

Hearn believes the Price fight would benefit Parker's appeal in the English market and lead to a bigger payday for both fighters.

"The Parker fight could really be built into a big fight. Now if (Parker) comes over here and knocks Price out, sensationally, that makes the AJ fight even bigger.

"The Parker team, they understand exactly where everyone's at. They're sort of saying could we be on the undercard if it's not us, and how about we fight David Price?"

Hearn, however, isn't ruling out Parker getting the shot in November against his champion fighter as he works to put his ducks in a row ahead of the upcoming fight announcement.

"I'm speaking to Poulev's people, he doesn't seem interested to fight AJ.

"Stiverne might end up fighting Alexander Povetikin, so maybe we fight Parker?"

Hearn has hit back at critics questioning his team requesting that Parker jumps through hoops in order to get to his earned title shot.

"People say why has Parker got to earn his shot, well he hasn't.

"He could choose to not box and wait till the AJ fight but he doesn't want to, he wants to box on a card."

A decision around a potential fight date between Parker and Joshua has to be made by December 9th or Joshua risks being stripped of his title.
