Bayern Munich may be dominating the Bundesliga but that has not made it boring, according to German Football League (DFL) CEO Christian Seifert.
Bayern can go 13 points clear if they beat Stuttgart away on Wednesday, but Seifert insists their running away with the title does not detract from the Bundesliga's appeal.
"The Bundesliga isn't only about the fight for top spot, there are also other places to be decided," said Seifert.
"The last round of matches has shown that any team can beat any other, with the exception of Bayern at the moment."
All of Bayern's main rivals lost ground to the European champions over the weekend, except Schalke, who were the only team in the group of five chasing teams to pick up a win.
Bayern are on a record unbeaten run of 42 matches ahead of the trip to Stuttgart and went 10 points clear last Friday with a 2-0 win at Borussia Moenchengladbach.
Last season they became the first German team to scoop the treble of Champions League, German Cup and Bundesliga, and are on course to land a 24th title this time around.
Seifert said it is good for the Bundesliga to be led by arguably the best side in the world at the moment.
"It doesn't give me any concerns that the Bundesliga currently has perhaps the best team in the world," he said.
"It's basically a good thing for German football and one needs to have some respect for Bayern Munich."
Even Borussia Dortmund, who won the league title in both 2011 and 2012, have admitted it is all about second place behind Bayern for the Bundesliga's top teams.
"For us, second place is now like winning the championship," said Dortmund midfielder Jonas Hofmann.
