British horse racing's governing body says there is no link between the seizure of unlicensed veterinary products reportedly from a Dubai government private jet and the doping-stained Godolphin racing operation run by the country's ruling monarch, Sheikh Mohammed.

The Guardian newspaper that Sheikh Mohammed launched an internal investigation into his operations following the seizure of the products at a British airport on May 3, days after Godolphin trainer Mahmood al-Zarooni was banned for eight years for giving 15 horses anabolic steroids.

Adam Brickell, director of integrity, legal and risk at the British Horseracing Authority, says in a statement the governing body was told by the British government that "they consider there to be no link between the seizure and the racing industry and that the products were not intended for use on thoroughbreds."
