British Olympians play spot your bag at airport

An Olympic uniform is one thing, but giving everyone on the team the same luggage isn't the best idea.

Britain's Olympic team found this out the hard way after returning home from Rio de Janeiro with a record medal haul.

The country's team touched down in London's Heathrow Airport on Tuesday in a gold-painted British Airways plane emblazoned with "victoRIOus" on the livery.

But it became apparent in the baggage claim area that giving everyone a red bag wasn't a gold medal-winning idea.

Fortunately Team GB were in good spirits after their 67-medal win and saw the humour in the situation.

Olympic athletes took to Twitter to share photos of the baggage fail.

"Having lots of fun..." wrote gymnast Becky Downie.
