South Africa bowling coach Allan Donald says the Protea's current pace lineup is the best the nation has produced, exceeding even the successful contingent of which he was a part.
Donald said Dale Steyn, Vernon Philander and Morne Morkel formed South Africa's most potent pace partnership, better than the one he shared with Shaun Pollock and Makhaya Ntini, which produced more than 1,100 test wickets.
He told reporters, "I'm not just saying that, because I was part of an attack with Shaun Pollock and myself and a few others ... I think this is as good as it gets."
