Former Wallabies coach Bob Dwyer has labelled the All Blacks as the “biggest cheats in world rugby.”
Speaking to The Independent newspaper Dwyer said.
"Without doubt. Each week they invent new ways of breaking the laws."
Dwyer acknowledged that the All Blacks were the best team but said.
“There are parts of their play that are blatantly illegal under the laws of the game."
All Blacks captain Richie McCaw was singled out by Dwyer for his performance during Saturday's test match.
“At one stage, Richie McCaw cleaned out an Australian player at least two metres from the ball."
Dwyer also criticised Jonathan Kaplan, who was assistant referee during the All Blacks 49-28 win over Australia last Saturday.
"How many times on the All Blacks' own ball did the cleanout come from the side or from in front of the ball? Yet assistant referee Jonathan Kaplan stood there on the sideline and watched it the whole game. I mean, he must have seen it.
Kaplan will referee this Saturday's match between the trans-Tasman rivals.
Dwyer says New Zealand break the rules when cleaning out ball they have in their possession more so than when they are competing for the other team’s ball for which they are more likely to be penalised for.
