Dwyer’s bias comments upset Paddy O’Brien

The International Rugby Board’s New Zealand head of refereeing Paddy O'Brien is considering legal action and wants a public apology from former Wallaby coach Bob Dwyer after Dwyer accused O'Brien of bias toward the All Blacks.

Dwyer says O'Brien only raises concerns with the performance of his match officials if it favours New Zealand like he did after the All Blacks scrum was hammered by Italy in Milan last year.

For the record the All Blacks have been penalised 34 times in their three Tri-Nations tests, South Africa 24 times and Australia 18 times in their two tests.
