10. (New) Leicester: The defending champions finally picked up their first win of the season, a solid 2-1 win over Swansea.

9. (6) Middlesbrough: Boro drew 0-0 with West Brom, a result I have absolutely no time for. But the reality is the newly-promoted side have made a very good start to the season, picking up five points in three matches and maintaining a spot in the ten.

8. (New) Arsenal: About time the Gunners cracked the top ten. They finally showed a bit of class in a 3-1 win over Watford but they really, really need some quality players if they want to crack the top three in both these power rankings, and the ladder.

7. (10) Liverpool: A 1-1 draw with Tottenham saw the Reds drop to 11th on the ladder, but here at the power rankings we take into consideration the quality of opposition so they move to 7th.

6. (8) Tottenham: Spurs have had a tough draw to start the season, and that meant another 1-1 draw with Liverpool over the weekend.

5. (4) Hull: It seems hard to drop them down given they lost in the last minute to United, but I doubt Mick Phelan thought he'd be sitting in fifth on my power rankings after three rounds so Hull can feel very proud of their start.

4. (5) Everton: I've got a heap of time for their manager Ronald Koeman and he's justifying it at the moment, another win over Stoke has the Toffees in the fourth place and unbeaten.

3. (3) Chelsea: It's only three rounds in but we are starting to see a top three emerge, and not just in these power rankings. They are one of three teams with a perfect record and their 3-0 win over Burnley was another dominant performance.

2. (1) Manchester United: A narrow win over Hull City won't go down as a great United result, so it's enough to see them drop to second but drop no further.

1. (2) Manchester City: A comfortable 3-1 win over West Ham saw City maintain their perfect start to the season. But it's the fact they've improved in every match that's seen them take the number one position.
