10. (4) Manchester United - I guess we've got to get them on here somewhere, but a 1-1 draw with West Ham - really?

9. (NEW) West Ham - Went to Old Trafford and picked up a 1-1 draw, a mighty result for a side languishing in 16th place.

8. (NEW) Stoke City - What about Stoke City, huh? What about them? Well, a 1-0 win over Watford means they've now gone eight matches with just the one loss, and four wins, after a horror start to their campaign.

7. (10) Southampton - A 1-0 win over the out of sorts Everton puts Southampton into tenth on the ladder, and seventh on the Power Rankings, a good week overall for the Saints.

6. (7) West Brom - Perhaps this is controversial to put Albion sixth on this list, perhaps it's not. But I'd suggest after a 1-1 draw with Hull it's the former, but the reality is they've picked up seven points in their last three matches, scored seven goals and are enjoying the view in ninth spot on the ladder. This is all something I did not expect to be saying about a Tony Pulis side, ever.

5. (6) Tottenham - You know, it's very rare that a team rises on these Power Rankings on the back of a loss but a 2-1 loss to Chelsea is hardly cause for concern for Spurs. After all, it was just their first loss of the campaign and they are still well placed in fifth spot.

4. (3) Arsenal - The Gunners drop a spot despite a 3-1 win over Bournemouth. The win was their first in three matches and was again heavily reliant on the brilliance of Alexis Sanchez, who really is quite a dazzling talent.

3. (5) Manchester City - Still just a point off the top of the table despite the fact they haven't really played very well for quite some time. A 2-1 win over Burnley was another scratchy result, but they are still picking up points and if they can rediscover their early season form they will be right in the mix.

2. (2) Liverpool - The Reds eased to a 2-0 win over Sunderland, hardly a memorable result but three points nonetheless. They'll be without Coutinho until 2017 but have shown they are a force this year, and show no signs of slowing anytime soon.

1. (1) Chelsea - I just cannot find a way to fault the Blues at the moment. They conceded their first goal in six matches but still came from behind to beat Tottenham 2-1 and maintain their spot on top of the ladder. They are without a shadow of a doubt the in form side at the moment.
