The Fast5 Ferns will try defend their Fast5 Netball World Series title when they meet the Australian Flyers in the grand final tonight.
They defeated a much improved South Africa side in the semi-final earlier today thanks to an outstanding defensive performance.
Taking the court in style, the Ferns gave a glimpse of what's to come in the final, but the South Africans weren't about to just roll over.
Trailing 8-5 after the first quarter, the Ferns were in need of a gear change.
With one goal in it at half time the Proteas power play could have been dangerous, but the Ferns defence was clinical and they kept South Africa scoreless.
And once they pulled out their power play card South Africa was left behind.
