Video highlights: Golden State Warriors take Game Five over Oklahoma City Thunder

The Golden State Warriors have extended the Western Conference finals to at least a sixth game, with a 120-111 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder in Oakland.

The defending champion Warriors faced elimination for the first time in two seasons, but they took an early lead, and despite a brief lull in the third quarter, were able to fend off any OKC runs.

Australian big man Andrew Bogut had his best game of the playoffs with a double double with 15 points and 14 rebounds, whilst Steph Curry and Klay Thompson produced strong offensive efforts to ensure a blockbuster game six in Oklahoma.

Curry was back to his best with 31 points, whilst back court partner Thompson had 27 points and a solid effort from the much maligned Draymond Green with 11 points and 13 rebounds will give the Warriors confidence heading into game six.

Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook did all they could to get the Thunder back in the game with Durant scoring a game high 40 points, with Westbrook scoring 31, but it wasn’t enough as OKC lacked any real impact from their back up players,  producing only 13 bench points

Kiwi Steven Adams was in foul trouble early, but came back strong to put in another solid playoff performance with 10 rebounds and 8 points.

Game six is on Sunday as Oklahoma look to close out the series at home.
