Former Australian Fullback Greg Martin has three simple words for Sir Graham Henry in the wake of the former All Black coach proclaiming that the current Wallabies outfit is the worst he as ever seen.

Martin told Andrew Gourdie and James McOnie on RadioLIVE that Henry "can shove it" after Australia's comfortable win over the Pumas in Perth last night.

"They made him eat his words that's for sure," said Martin.

"It's been publicised here in Australia this morning, so yeah he can shove it."

Martin acknowledges however that the All Blacks are a long way ahead of the competition and should be commended for the way the team has handled it’s high turnover rate after the Rugby World Cup victory.

"We didn't have the same succession plan as the All Blacks , we weren't as smart in getting ready for the turnover in players."

"Take last night's game as an example, there was 10 changes from the World Cup semi-final.

"We don't have enough good players to handle that the way you guys (New Zealand) do."

But all is not lost for Wallabies supporters according to Martin, he believes that they have turned a corner the last two weeks and the best is not too far away.

"What we saw last night was the players tell themselves that they belong in international rugby.

"Another couple of games with good performances and we may be able to put a couple of chinks in the All Blacks armour."

"We are a fair way off (The All Blacks), and they are not there yet but I think they are on their way."

Can the Wallabies pull an upset off at Eden Park next month? Martin doesn't think so.

"There is a mystique about Eden Park, we will go better but I can't predict what the All Blacks can produce on any given day."

The Wallabies head to the Republic nect to take on the Springboks before taking on Argentina in London.

Australia and New Zealand square off again on October 22nd in Auckland in a Bledisloe Cup dead rubber.
