Hunt wants to claim win after opponent's positive drug test

Kiwi heavyweight Mark Hunt believes he should be declared the winner of his Ultimate Fighting Championship battle with Antonio "Bigfoot" Silva, after the Brazilian failed a post-fight drugs test.

The pair battled to a bloody draw in Brisbane earlier this month, but it's now come to light that Silva tested positive for illegal levels of testosterone on the day of the fight despite the UFC approving a regimen of testosterone replacement therapy.

"It would come in pretty handy but the thing is it wasn't about the bonus $50,000 anyway so I don't really care about the money anyway it's not big deal," Hunt said.

Hunt will receive Silva's $60,000 dollar fight bonus, while the Brazilian's also been banned from the sport for nine months.
