Former Black Caps Captain Brendon McCullum has returned to the UK for the first time since the Chris Cairns perjury trial late last year.
McCullum has joined up with Middlesex for England's T20 competition, the NatWest Blast.
On reflecting on his previous visit to the UK, McCullum does not remember it fondly.
"It wasn't a nice time, at all," he said.
"Not just the trip to London, but before and after it as well, but it is what it is and we move on in life."
McCullum still stands by his testimony despite disputes from the accused, his former teammate and hero Chris Cairns.
"It was never about the result at the other end, it was the fact that I had to stand by my evidence which I gave, and I still stand by it."
Cricket is not the only thing on McCullum's agenda however, the T20 specialist is also giving the Cowdrey Spirit of Cricket lecture at Lords.
When asked by Newshub, McCullum was non-committal on if match fixing or Chris Cairns would be a topic of discussion.
"I haven't fully finished it yet, so I'll have to wait and see."
