Jordan Rapana is feeling very much at home in the Kiwis as the team was put through its paces in Leeds on Tuesday.

Preparing for the match against Great Britain on Sunday (NZT), Rapana said he was thankful to get on the ground and get down to work.

"It's good to finally get the ball in hand," the 27-year-old said.

"We just got in yesterday so it's good to get out here and final touch the ball and get a good run under us."

On top of being glad to be there, Rapana said that he really felt at home in the side and attributed it to his team mates after making his debut in Perth last week.

"I really feel at home here and really feel like I'm a part of a big family of brothers.

"I've really enjoyed my time and they've made me feel very welcome."

Rapana echoed the sentiment throughout the team when asked about whether they were better for their match against the Kangaroos despite suffering a disappointing 26-6 loss.

"It was the first game. A lot of the boys hadn't played footy in 4-6 weeks."

"It's good to get the cobwebs out and get that decent run under our belt. We'll be training well today and we'll be confident going [into the game] this week.
