Jose Mourinho commits to Manchester United

Sky News UK is reporting that Jose Mourinho has signed a contract to become the new manager of Manchester United.

According to Skysports.com the Portuguese put pen to paper at a central London hotel early Friday morning (NZ time).

The former Chelsea and Real Madrid boss will succeed Louis Van Gaal as the new boss at Old Trafford, the Dutchmen won  the FA Cup in his last game in charge on Sunday morning.

Mourinho was seen by journalists returning home with documents in his hand and a bottle of red wine, having earlier met with United’s executive vice chairman Ed Woodward to complete the deal.

Mourinho has been out of work since December, when his former club Chelsea sacked him after a poor start to the London club’s Premier League title defence.

The Champ[ions League winning coach has  already been busy in the transfer market, with many UK papers reporting that PSG forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic is on the verge of signing with the club.
