Hurrell has been with the Warriors since 2012, having made 71 appearances for the side during which he scored 41 tries, at times enjoying cult hero status as fans embraced his hard-nosed style of running and jovial demeanour on and off the field.

He's struggled at times with conditioning issues and has found himself at the centre of a number of controversies, most recently his involvement in a painkiller and alcohol binge which has seen him fall further out of favour with the coaching staff.

Hurrell has been limited to just three appearances off the bench this season, spending the majority of his time with the reserve grade side.

There has been no word yet on exactly where Hurrell may land, although Newscorp in Australia are reporting that an annoucement regarding his signing to the the Gold Coast Titans is imminent.
