NBA player Lamar Odom has awoken from a coma and spoken just three days after he was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel according to The Guardian.
He's since been taken off his ventilator and is breathing on his own, reportedly offering a thumbs up and 'good morning' to hospital staff.
The troubled basketballer was discovered unresponsive at the Love Ranch brothel after an alleged drug overdose.
There were serious concerns that Odom would not wake from his coma.
However, a spokeswoman for Odom's aunt says the NBA star woke up and gave a 'thumbs-up' to those at his bedside – which included estranged wife Khloe Kardashian.
CNN is reporting that while Odom was conscious he still required a mask to breathe, after serious damage was inflicted on his vital organs.
It is not known whether Odom remains conscious or for how long he was awake.
