Final Score: Chiefs 15 – 9 Sharks

---------------------------------------------

79 min - Penalty CHIEFS! That could be the ball game. They were retaining the ball looking to run down the clock and the Sharks couldn't resist putting their hands in the cookie jar. 61 min - Still searching for a try to crack this game open. The Chiefs get a penalty and opt to find touch, the ball is changing hands constantly throughout this one.

58 min - Yet another turnover, the Chiefs just looking to push the pass that isn't there at present. Sivivatu the guilty party in that one.

56 min - Ohhh! The Chiefs go close with a swift backline move, Umaga made the bust and he got a great offload away to Kahui, he couldn't hold onto it though under pressure and a chance goes begging for the mooloo men.

53 min - Patrik Lambie gets a chance at goal and he makes no mistake. Easy stuff and another penalty at ruck time, we are all locked up once more.

50 min - The Sharks bring on some fresh legs, looking for that elusive first try.

Pre match:

The Sharks take on the Chiefs in Hamilton on Friday while the Waratahs meet the winless Cheetahs in Sydney. The Johannesburg-based Lions are at home to Australia's Western Force.

All Blacks centre Richard Kahui returns to the Chiefs backline alongside veteran Tana Umaga as the injury-hit team attempts to recover from last week's 29-26 loss to the Hurricanes.

"The key lessons from last week's frustrating loss were that we need to be more clinical and individuals need to take more responsibility for their skill areas," coach Ian Foster said.

"We have worked hard in those areas this week and we are looking to demonstrate this improvement."
