World number one Lydia Ko is back in the hunt for the million dollar prize at the season-ending CME Group Tour Championship in Florida after a record-setting second round.
The 19-year-old reeled off 11 birdies on her way to a new course record of 62 to claim a three shot lead with two rounds to play.
Ko was sitting in a share of the lead with Korea's So Yeon Ryu at the start of the day's play, at 8-under-par.
She can defend her player of the year title by winning the tournament and finishing ahead of Thai rival Ariya Jutanugarn, who closed eight shots behind her Kiwi rival.
