Lydia Ko has endured a ragged start to the British women's golf Open at Milton Keynes.
The world number one finished with bogeys at the 17th and 18th holes to slip to a first round of 74.
Ko was struggling after early bogeys at the 3rd and 7th holes, although she did make two birdies.
She's in a share of 90th place, and a whopping 12 shots behind the red hot pace set by Korea's Mirim Lee, who shot a 10-under-par 62.
Thailand's Ariya Jutanugarn is in third place at 7-under.
Ko will need all her famed composure to get back into contention with an early tee off to her second round at 7:15am (8:15pm Friday NZ Time).
