Mansions, guns, and Sin City: Hunt counts down to UFC200

The brutal world of the MMA is preparing for the biggest night in its history – UFC 200.

There are a huge number of superstars fighting, but co-headlining the main event is 42-year-old Kiwi Mark Hunt.

The Sydney-based kiwi has been put up here by UFC supremo Dana White in the lead up to UFC 200 and he's enjoying all aspects of life in the sin city.

"I don't want any trouble. But trouble's my middle name homie.

"I'm just joking."

Don't worry it was a fake, Hunt doesn't need guns anyway, his fists do the real damage, and they form the basis of his plan to beat his superstar opponent Brock Lesnar.

"Well, I'm going to punch him in the face," quips Hunt.

Lesnar will take some stopping, despite making his name in the WWE he's been a mixed martial arts champion.

Hunt doesn't mind his opponent taking up the spotlight though, he's enjoying a preparation without the hype or pressure.

"It's all about him, this is all about what he can do. But he's going to get a rude surprise when I punch him in the face."

Until then Hunt's only job is to loss six kilos to come in at fighting weight, he's been told they'll be no exemption.

That's in contrast to Lesnar, who despite having a history of drug and alcohol abuse, is exempt from testing for this fight.

"If he's exempt then everyone should be exempt, I don't care who it is. If they want to clean up the sport they should be drug testing properly."

Win, lose or draw this won't change Hunt's world ranking, but it will change his bank balance. He has a lucrative new contract with the UFC which will see him headlining many more fights here in the U.S.
