Shane Mosley has returned to Australia just three weeks after walking out on his scheduled WBA light-middleweight bout with Anthony Mundine because of a contract dispute over unpaid fees.

The 42-year-old American arrived in Sydney on Thursday to prepare for the rescheduled November 27 fight, and has said "I can guarantee you the fight is going ahead."

Mosley, who has held world titles at lightweight, welterweight and light-middleweight, was originally due to fight former rugby league player Mundine on October 23.

But he left Australia the day of the scheduled weigh-in, citing a breach of contract by the bout's former promoter for not paying his guaranteed purse in advance.

Mundine and his manager, Khoder Nasser, have paid $1 million in advance to guarantee the November 27 fight.

In other Mundine news, a bar he owns called The Boxa Bar has been destroyed overnight by a fire bomb.

The bar had lots of Mundine memorabilia hanging on the walls.

Police are investigating the incident and will talk to Mundine this afternoon.
