The country's leading naked rugby team - the Nude Blacks - is looking for reinforcements to bolster their squad after a bruising 25-20 loss to the Spanish Conquistadores earlier this month.

The Nude Blacks are under pressure to produce a much improved performance for their next match this Saturday against the Romanian Vampires. The game will be played against the spectacular backdrop of Dunedin's Larnach Castle.
Coach Devon Latoa says with a few of the regular team unavailable this weekend, he's keen to introduce a rotation policy to help them get through a tough schedule of matches over the next 6 weeks. He understands both sides are on the hunt for potential players (both male and female) to bolster their ranks.
Nude Rugby Organiser Ralph Davies admits the team are a little worried about their unknown opponents, the Vampirii Romani.
"We hear they are sharp on attack but we want to stake our claim again as the premiers of International Nude Rugby after last week's aberration," he says.
"There is a good support base for the Romanians and we welcome expressions of interest for players of Romanian extraction to put their hands up", says Mr Davies. "They may not have packed their Capes and Fangs but these things can be looked after, all in the name of good clean fun and continuing the fine tradition of Nude Rugby".

This weekend's match outside Larnach Castle kicks off at 10.30am on Saturday (September 24) with spectators encouraged to arrive from 9am to receive a discounted Garden entry charge ($5, normally $12.50).
