We heard there was a pool at the media accommodation in Rio, but we didn't expect it to be in our apartment.
It's no secret the sewage system in the Olympic city isn't the most reliable, something myself and colleague Lewis Hampton discovered after breakfast this morning.
"I'm just going for a quick shower," said Lewis.
Lewis was quick, really quick. Then came the cry for help.
"Towels, Jeff... grab some towels," as the apartment began to flood.
If only Rob Waddell was on hand, I thought.

New Zealand's chef de mission was a jack of all trades getting the athletes' accommodation to a reasonable standard before the Games, fixing pipes and blocked toilets.
I'm pleased to report that the issue has now been resolved thanks to the friendly staff at the village.
Safe to say we will be keeping a close eye on our shower times, and possibly investing in a mop.
