Sophie Pascoe has reclaimed her 100m backstroke S10 crown after flying to gold at the Paralympic Games in Rio.

Pascoe, who had to settle for silver in London after winning gold in 2008, blitzed the field in the first 50m and had enough left in the tank to hold on for the win ahead of Hungary's Binaka Pap and Britain's Alice Tai.

It was Pascoe's seventh Paralympic gold medal and her 12th overall.

The victory comes a day after the 23-year-old claimed silver in the women's 50m freestyle S10.
